Specializing in police and military working dogs
Craig Patton is a sergeant and K9 training supervisor for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. He has been an officer for 22 years and in K9 17 of those years.
Craig specializes in patrol tactics for military and police dogs along with training narcotics and explosives K9s.
Craig has trained hundreds of police and military dogs and has apprehended hundreds of felony suspects with dogs. Craig is currently the training supervisor responsible for training more than 50 narcotics dogs, 10 explosives dogs, and an arson dog along with over 40 patrol apprehension dogs.
Craig also was tasked with implementing a K9 unit in 2005 for an elite military unit both in Iraq and Afghanistan. He served in both areas as a project manager for the K9 aspect of the unit.
Craig is available to assist both military and police K9 units as a consultant and training specialist. He also has dogs available upon request for patrol dogs as dual-purpose or single purpose explosives and narcotics dogs.
Craig also is available as an expert witness on behalf of police officers and military personnel on the use of their K9s.
